To finalise a short-term car rental with us at Car Leasing, you must sign a contract, an order form, and complete a Direct Debit mandate.
No, you will not be charged if you change your mind before delivery
At Car Leasing, we will bill you through a monthly invoice. We can provide you with an online login for invoicing to go alongside or replace paper invoicing. Your payment will then be taken on the preferred date you gave us on the Direct Debit mandate. If you haven’t given us a date preference, we will charge on your delivery date. For example, if your vehicle was delivered on the 7th of the month, you will be charged on or after the 7th of each following month.
You must take care of the vehicle throughout your short-term lease and ensure it is fully legal and roadworthy when returned. If you exceed your annual mileage allowance, you will be charged a fixed amount for each extra mile, as stated in your contract. We’ve calculated your monthly payments by assuming the car will return to us in good condition. Photos of your vehicle will be taken just before it is delivered, and photos will be taken when it is collected at the end of your contract. We will only charge you for any damage or missing items caused during the period of your lease. If the vehicle does get damaged, you should get it fixed by a reputable specialist before you return it.
If you need to return your vehicle earlier than originally stated in your short-term car rental, we will apply a standard Early Termination policy and charges.
Yes, when your leased vehicle turns 3 years old, it is your responsibility to take it for an MOT regardless of the maintenance package you have taken. We will send you an MOT reminder in plenty of time before it’s due.
All leasing contracts with Car Leasing include road tax.
No, the initial payment is not refunded once your lease agreement ends.
